Terms of Service

The following terms of service is between Technesia and you, the customer. And it is applicable to all services provided by Technesia.

By using Technesia's services, you, the customer are agreeing to these terms.
Please read them carefully.

Ownership and Authorization

• You agree that you are the owner or authorized to represent the owner of any devices including but not limited to computers, phones, tablets, etc. that you brought in for service and/or repair.

Appointment, Late, and No-Show policy

• Technesia's hours are available by appointment only. Appointments can be made the same day.

• It is your responsibility to arrive on time for your appointment.

• If you are unable to show up on time for your appointment, for any reason, please give a minimum two (2) hours notice prior to your appointment time to either cancel or reschedule the appointment.

• Technesia reserves the right to refuse service or charge a $40 (fourty dollar) no-show or late fee to anyone who arrives more than fifteen (15) minutes late or to anyone who has missed an appointment without prior notice.

Diagnostic / Evaluation Fee

• A diagnostic / evaluation fee will be assessed for any devices and any items that are either non-repairable or if the service or repair is declined for any reason.

• All service and repair orders are subject to a minimum $40 (Fourty Dollar) diagnostic / evaluation fee regardless of the state of repair or outcome of the diagnosis or evaluation.

• If you decide to use Technesia's service, the diagnostic fee is waived or will be credited towards the service or repair.

Self-Diagnostic / Self-Evaluation

• Technesia honors the customer's research and self-diagnostic efforts. Technesia will perform the repair based on the customer's self-diagnostic or self-evaluation result, and customer's specific request.

• If you, the customer, brought your own part(s) and component(s) to complete the service or repair, Technesia does not provide any warranty to any part(s) and component(s) that you brought to complete the service or repair.

• You, the customer, are agree to pay in full, the service and the cost of any parts and components, regardless of the outcome of the repair or if you mis-diagnosed or mis-evaluated the problem.

Estimated Completion Time

• Technesia will provide an estimated completion time and will contact you once the service or repair is complete.

• Although it's rarely happen, unforeseen circumstances such as but not limited to delay by the postal carrier, holidays, weather, or damage during the shipping, may have an impact on Technesia's ability to complete the service and repair as provided in the estimate. Technesia is not responsible for any delay in its service completion time due to any cause beyond its control.

• If you, the customer, are unable to give Technesia some reasonable time to perform the service and repair, Technesia may perform the service and repair with its limited time and may not be able to run any appropriate diagnostic and tests to complete the service. Technesia may also decline the service and repair at its own discretion.

Deposit, Fees, and Payment

• All service and repair are subject to a minimum $40 diagnostic / evaluation fee regardless of the state of repair or outcome of the diagnosis / evaluation.

• Full or partial deposit may be required prior to the service or repair, including but not limited to: on site service, pick up and delivery, hardware, software, parts, components, or any other purchase(s) required for the service and repair. Deposit must be paid prior to the service or repair.

• Payment made by Venmo, CashApp, Paypal, and/or Cards are subject to 5% (five percent) non refundable processing fee.

• You, the customer, agree to pay all applicable charges and fees related to the applicable service and repair, as well as any taxes or other charges due including payment processing fees, trip charges, set-up fees, shipping fees, etc.

• All the fees, charges, and money owed to Technesia must be paid in FULL and CLEARED upon completion of services and before you, the customer, leaving Technesia's premises and before Technesia sending your device back to you.

• Technesia owns the right to withhold, refuse, cancel, or suspend its service for any unpaid fees and charges.

• Unless stated in writing otherwise, all fees and charges are NON-Refundable.

Repair Risks

• Due to the nature of the repair, your device may break and permanently damaged during repair and rendered useless.

• Laptop hinges can break and fail during the repair due to its build quality.

• Any devices with glued-on screen such as phone, tablet, and iMac involve prying the screen to access the internal components. Screens are very delicate and can crack or break during the process.

• Hard Drives, SSDs or any storage device can fail and stop working at anytime without warning and your data can be unrecoverable. It is your, the customer's responsibility to backup your data prior to contacting or allowing Technesia to perform any service or repair.

• Liquid damage can be undetectable and may corrode any parts and components inside your device. This corrosions may further damage your device.

• Eventhough the risk is very minimal, you, the customer, understand that the risk is exist and will not held Technesia lioable and responsible for this risk.

• If your device break during the repair, it will be considered as new or unrelated problem and will be treated as such.

• If additional parts and components is needed to complete the repair, you, the customer are responsible to pay the cost of these additional parts and components.

Warranty

• All of Technesia's repairs are done with the care of the customers experience in mind. Technesia provides thirty (30) days limited labor warranty on most of its services starting from the date when you, the customer, are notified that the service or repair is completed.

• Warranty covers identical issues which were originally performed. If the identical issue arise or if the problem is not fully corrected during a repair and if the system exhibits the same identical symptoms as when the system was originally repaired within the thirty (30) days waranty period, Technesia will promptly resolve the problem and perform the service or repair again at no extra cost.

• If during a warranty repair, additional parts / components are required to complete the repair, you, the customer are responsible for paying for such parts and components.

• Computer systems, hardware, parts, components, peripheral devices, software and any other tangible components are warranted only by the manufacturer, seller, or publisher of such component and are limited to the terms set forth by said manufacturer, seller, or publisher.

• Technesia's warranty does not cover and shall be void for defects or damages resulting from casualty, accident, transportation, mishandle, misuse or abuse, manufacturer's defect, liquid damage, viruses and spyware re-infection as a result from user behavior such as, including but not limited to installing illegal software, downloading torrent, neglect, alterations, service or repair performed by the customer or other repair service provider other than Technesia, user error, improper installation, improper operation, improper connections with peripherals, or other causes not arising out of defects in materials or workmanship.

• Technesia is not responsible for damage to or loss of any programs, data, or files, or removable storage media, whether it occurs within warranty period or during the repair process.

• If after a repair, the client experiences problems which were not originally disclosed to Technesia prior to the initial repair, the problem is considered as new and unrelated problems. These new and unrelated problems are not covered by Technesia's warranty.

• Technesia does not warrant that the service provided by Technesia will perform at a particular speed, bandwidth or data rate, or will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses, or the like.

• You understand service(s) rendered by Technesia may void the manufacturer warranties. Technesia does not assume any liability in the event that the manufacturer warranties are voided. Technesia offers no verbal or written warranty, either expressed or implied, regarding the success of services rendered.

• Whole unit replacement or refund (wholly or partially) is not an option.

Abandoned and Unclaimed Properties

• You, the customer, understand that Technesia is not a storage facility and should not be treated as such.

• Technesia will inform and notify you when your device is ready to pick up. You, the customer, have fourteen (14) days period to pick up your device starting from the day of notification.

• Technesia may give you, the customer, a courtesy reminder to pick up your computer, devices and all your belongings left at Technesia's premises.

• Regardless of the outcome of the repair or whether any parts and/or service are already paid in full, any items left at Technesia's premises that are not picked up within fourteen (14) days of notification will be considered abandoned or unclaimed property.

• Technesia owns the full rights to any abandoned or unclaimed property. Technesia may dispose, sell, or donate any abandoned or unclaimed property at its own discretion.

• For any reason, if you, the customer, are unable to pick up your devices within fourteen (14) days of notification. You, the customer, can ask somebody else, friend or family to pick up your devices on your behalf. Technesia also can mail the device and send it to the customer's address. You, the customer are responsible for the shipping fees as well as the cost of shipping materials.

You understand, it is your responsibility:

• To back-up the data, software, information, or other files on your computer, hard drive, phone and/or any other data storage media prior to contacting or allowing Technesia to perform any service or repair.

• To be communicative, responsive, and respond to Technesia's text, email and calls in timely manner.

• To arrive on time for your appointment and give a minimum two (2) hour notice if you are unable to keep an appointment.

• To pay all the applicable charges and fees.

• Test and check your computer, phone, parts, components, accessories, and your belongings to make sure the service is completed and delivered before leaving Technesia's premises. Technesia is not responsible for any damage or missing computer parts, components, accessories, and belongings once you left Technesia's premises.

In No Event Shall Technesia, its owner, and its third party service provider be liable for:

• Any failure or delay in performance due to any cause beyond its control.

• Loss and/or corruption of your data.

• If changes in operation procedures or service require modification or alteration of the customer's equipment rendering prior setting the same obsolete or otherwise affecting its performance. For example if the new operating system is installed, all the settings that you have on the computer will be restored to default.

• Direct or indirect liability associated to copyright infringement and/or stolen materials supplied by the customer.

• Any loss, disclosure, alteration or corruption of any data, software, information, files, or other media.

• Any direct, indirect, special, consequential or incidental damages, including without limitation, lost profits or loss of revenue or damage to data arising out of the use, partial use or inability to use the service, regardless of the type of claim or the nature of the cause of action, including without limitation, those arising under contract, tort, negligence or strict liability, even if Technesia has been advised of the possibility of such claim or damages, or any claims against You by any other party.

Consent to Audio and Video Recording

• Any and all activities inside and around Technesia's premises are monitored and recorded with security cameras. By entering Technesia's premises, You, the customer consent to being recorded by the audio and video surveillance cameras.

• You, the customer, acknowledge that the recordings may include your likeness, voice, and actions, and may be captured and stored for various purposes, including but not limited to security, safety, monitoring, educational, and promotional purposes.

• Technesia retains the right to review, access, and use the recorded content at its own discretion.

• This consent to recording does not extend to areas where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as restrooms. Technesia's surveillance cameras are not placed in such areas.

• You may revoke your consent to be recorded at any time by leaving Technesia's premises where surveillance cameras are in use. However, any recordings made prior to the revocation of consent will still be subject to the terms outlined in this document.

• Technesia may take photos, record audios and record videos during the service and repair process of your device and modify, edit and alter it for various purposes including but not limited to educational and promotional purposes.

• By consenting to be recorded, you, the customer, grant Technesia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works based on the recorded materials for promotional and marketing purposes on social media platforms.

• You, the customer, acknowledge and agree that you will not make any monetary claims or seek compensation, damages, or financial remuneration of any kind from Technesia in connection with your presence on the recorded audio and video content.

Access to Device and Data

• During the service and/or repair, Technesia may ask you to grant the password, passcodes, PIN, administrator account information, login information, and any necessary information in order to complete the service. All customer's data, files, and information is held confidential and will not be shared or exposed to any other individual or third party company.

• You agree to authorize and grant Technesia full permission to physically access your computer, phone, hard drive, or any other parts and devices necessary to complete the service.

• You agree to authorize and grant Technesia any login passwords, passcodes, PIN, administrator account information, and any other necessary information to complete the service.

• For the purpose of Data Recovery, Data Backup, and to avoid data loss during the service and/or repair, Technesia may access and store customer's data and files temporarily to Technesia's computer, storage drive, or any storage drive provided by the customer.

• In some cases, Technesia may also need to access the customer's browsing history to check where the virus infestation or other problem started.

• Once the service is completed and all the data and files are securely received by the customer, Technesia will immediately discard any obtained data and files from it's computer and storage drive.

• All customer's data, files, and information is held confidential and will not be shared or exposed to any other individual or third party company.

• If you, the customer have any sensitive data and files, you have the FULL RIGHT to refuse to grant access and refuse to give permission to access your data and files.

• For any reason, if you, the customer, are unable to grant Technesia access and permission to access the computer, phone, hard drive, or any other parts and devices necessary to complete the service, Technesia may perform the service and repair with its limited ability and may not be able to run any appropriate diagnostic and tests to complete the service. Technesia may also decline the service and repair at its own discretion.

• Any problem that is undiagnosed and/or arise due to the limited access to the device will be considered as new and unrelated problem and will not be covered under the warranty.

• Regardless the outcome of the repair, whether it's fully or partially fixed; you, the customer, agree to pay the full price of the service including all the fees and charges.

Your Right to Refuse

• You, have the FULL RIGHT to refuse to grant access and refuse to give permission to access your data, files and/or any part of the device.

• For any reason, if you, the customer, are unable to grant Technesia access and permission to access the computer, phone, hard drive, or any other parts and devices necessary to complete the service, Technesia may perform the service and repair within its limited ability and may not be able to run any appropriate diagnostic and tests to complete the service. Technesia may also decline the service and repair at its own discretion.

• Any problem that is undiagnosed and/or arise due to the limited access to the device will be considered as new and unrelated problem and will not be covered under the warranty.

• Regardless the outcome of the repair, whether it's fully or partially fixed; you, the customer, agree to pay the full price of the service including all the fees and charges.

Cloud Access and Storage

• Technesia may upload your, the customer's data and files to a secure cloud storage platform for you, the customer to access and/or download.

• You, the customer, will be provided with a unique link and access credentials to download your data and files from the cloud.

• You, the customer acknowledges and agrees that you have a period of 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receiving the access link to download all your data and files from the cloud storage.

• It is your, the customer's responsibility to ensure that you download all your data and files within the 14 day period. After this 14 days period, all the data and files will be automatically deleted from the cloud storage and will not be recoverable.

Privacy Policy

• As part of the service, Technesia may collect some personal information such as your contact information; including name, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address.

• Technesia may ask you to grant the password, login information, and any necessary information in order to complete the service. All customer's data, files, and information is held confidential and will not be shared or exposed to any other individual or third party company.

• Technesia will only access and store customer's data and files as needed and only with permission from the customer. Once the service is completed or terminated, Technesia will immediately discard any obtained data, files, and information.

• Any personal information collected by Technesia may be used to send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions and will not be shared or exposed to any other individual or third party company.

Right to Refuse

• At its sole discretion, Technesia reserves the right to refuse or decline work that is beyond the scope of its ability or for other reason.

Cancellation and Termination Policy

• Either you, the customer or Technesia may immediately terminate the service upon written, text, or email notice to the other party.

• Upon notice, all work in progress will be immediately ceased, all data and files stored in cloud storage will be immediately deleted.

• Any charges and fees owed must be paid in full.
